Briceland Vineyards: Founded in 1985 by Joe Collins and Maggie Carey, Briceland Vineyards has won several awards at major competitions across the state. This small winery focuses on quality over quantity and the wine is produced from locally grown grapes. Joe Collins has over 33 years of experience and continues to handcraft his wines today. You can purchase Briceland wines in several marketplaces and restaurants along Humboldt County.
River Bend Cellars: This winery is surrounded by the always beautiful Redwoods Park. With hot days and cool nights, River Bend experiences the perfect climate for premium grape growing. They craft their wines European style and include complex flavors not found in other competitors.
Rosina Vineyards: Family owned and operate, Rosina Vineyards is located in Redcrest, California. Wines are crafted from Pinot Noir grapes which are grown in the perfect climate. All products are dry farmed and are free of pesticides and herbicides.
Wineries in Northern Humboldt
Moonstone Crossing Winery: Wines here are made from hand selected grapes grown in places like Mendocino, Sonoma, and Napa. This allows for unique and diverse flavor. They don’t pump or filter their product and add a minimal amount of artificial flavor. Red wines produced here are aged in American and French oak for 22 to 26 months before bottling- then they are aged for six months more.
Cabot Vineyards: Arguably surrounded by the most beautiful scenery in California, this winery has lush forests on one side and a free flowing river on the other. They are family owned and operated and opened for business in 2001 by John and Kimberly Cabot. Since they are such a small estate, this allows John to work hands on and craft each bottle by hand. Kimberly handles on the business aspect of the winery and takes care of all the paperwork.

Winnett Vineyards: This one-of-a-kind estate is located between the Pacific Coast Mountain Range and the Trinity Alps. They are the oldest winery in Willow Creek and are family owned and organically certified. Several generations of family members have operated this winery and they press their wines the old fashioned way- by hand. Here you will find several popular flavors including Sauvignon, Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabaret Sauvignon.
