Humboldt County Museum
Humboldt County Museum is located in Winnemucca and showcases historic artifacts of the magnificent days of the Old West where daring pioneers sought after many things. They have objects which go back to the days of the cowboys as well as the artifacts from the Ice Age, the Roaring Twenties, and the Great Depression. Visitors will find ancient artifacts from all over the Humboldt County, including Paradise Valley, Winnemucca, and other rural areas.

Fortuna Depot Museum, in Fortuna contains the collection of Eel River Valley that includes railroad memorabilia, war and farm eras including barbed wire displays, spark plugs and huge locks, collection of dolls with different type of lures and fishing tools. There is a section where children can gently touch and explore the artifacts.

Humboldt Bay Maritime Museum
Humboldt Bay Maritime Museum was founded in 1977 and is located in Eureka, preserves the varied maritime heritage of Humboldt Bay region. This museum seeks to collect, identify, conserve and interpret library archives, photographs, artifacts related to maritime history. The museum exhibits from the lives of lighthouse keepers to the first ship that entered the bay.

Clarke Historical Museum, founded in 1920s, preserves various items including the gold rush, fashions, logging, maritime history and items related to everyday life in the main hall. The second hall houses local culture of America with an unbelievable collection of stone artifacts, regalia and basketry.

Ferndale Museum
Ferndale Museum is situated in Ferndale. When you walk through the museum you can visualize the whole Ferndale Street of late 1800s in front of you. The museum houses logging and farming tools, belt driven machinery, and blacksmith shop.

Morris Graves Museum of Art has seven galleries including an Arts Resource Center, a Museum Store, a Courtyard Sculpture Garden, a Performance Rotunda, classroom facilities. Visitors can also enjoy art exhibits and musical performance which would leave them wanting for more.

Clarke Historical Museum

Description : The Clarke Historical Museum is located in the heart of Eureka's Old Town in an elegant 1912 building that was once the Bank of Eureka. Another hall displays an outstanding collection of basketry, artifacts and regalia from the local Native American tribes. Admission is free though donations are appreciated.
