Performing Arts
Places like the Arkeley center are designed for the performing arts. It caters to some of the best on-stage performances in Humboldt. For example, dance recitals, theatrical works, and orchestras all take place here. If you have a taste for classical music, then lend your ears to the works of the famous composers who perform in the Eureka Symphony.

Dances
Feel the rhythm of every tune and turn into a dance crazed lunatic at the North Coast Dance. The goal of this area is to provide lessons for almost every type of dance; belly dancing, ball room dancing, hip hop, and a few others are the most popular. During the summer, dance is accessible for anyone who is a part of the community. These individuals receive top-of-the-line training.
The Fernadale Theatre (located near the Victorian village) is the number one location for live performances all throughout the year. It also happens to be one of the longest running theatres in the North Coast of California.

Fill your nights with some exciting live concerts or dances at the Center Arts. The campus can hold an audience of about 800 and provides entertainers like Los Lobos, Peeking Acrobats, and even Moscow State symphony. If you are a fan of comedy shows, you must visit Dell’Arte’s- a unique company which provides some of the best stand-up in California. To enjoy the purest traditional sense of Humboldt County, you should pay a visit to the Humboldt Folk Life Society.
