About Phillipsville
Phillipsville California is a wonderful town located in Humboldt County in northern California. The past meets the present here in Phillipsville as the remnants of the Gold Rush pioneers can still be seen in the shops of downtown. This pioneering-spirited town is located on the South Shore River and is home to some of the most beautiful picturesque views of the Avenue of the Giants. One extra special sight to see is in the nearby town of Chimney Tree where there is a Giant Redwood Tree that resembles a chimney.
The town of Phillipsville, settled in 1865, is one of the oldest towns in all of Humboldt County. That history is not lost unto the locals and residents of this fantastic mountainous get-away.
